Who is MHT Luxury Alloys?

My association with MHT goes back to the beginning of (MHT) time...well just about. I do go back to when MHT introduced the first mainstream product line...Niche Road Wheels in (I think) 1995. I was there at the SEMA Show when they piloted the Niche line with 4 wheels on display...one of which was the Niche Bahn...a.k.a. "Fat Boy."

The Bahn was chrome plated aluminum 5 (fat) spoke wheel and it weighed a ton! But nobody seemed to mind...because it sold! And it sold alot ...making Niche (pronounced nich, or on the street it was pronounced neechee) the hottest name out there. Niche grew to be a very prestigious name in the wheel business and remains a prominent name.

Shortly after that came along Mark Neeper...or Concept Neeper with the memorable N-7. This wheel, along with the Alien made the artist well known for his unique wheel designs and soon he too climbed to the forefront of custom wheel designs. Neep is truly a unique guy, fun to be around and a true artist.

Now...MHT is best known for the urban lifestyle brand Dub and for the ever popular Foose Design. I can remember when MHT introduced the Foose line...it was the week before the SEMA Show and they invited all of their distributors, back when they had distributors, to the Westin Hotel on Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach California. It was quite a show...with several of Chip Foose's automobile creations parked on a third story outdoor parking lot. Chip has come quite a long way from there, including his own television series...Overhaulin'. I've met Chip on several occassions and really enjoy speaking with him. He is likely the most humble person in the automotive industry!

All this having been said, MHT is a very creative company with a ton of great wheel styles and the tenacity to try everything. In a time when the custom wheel market is flodded...and I mean flooded with wheel manufacturers and importers...MHT keeps coming up with new ideas...like the Metal MotorSport line of motorcyle wheels
